1. How did Associa Cares originate?
After decades of working in the community association management industry the leaders of Associa began to look for a way to not only provide professional services to communities, but to meet the needs of the families and individuals they saw in crisis, through no fault of their own, across the United States. Associa Cares was established in December 2005.

2. Does Associa Cares provide assistance solely for the communities it manages?
Absolutely not. Associa Cares exists to be an outreach avenue for the employees of Associa who desire to impact the lives of people in need, regardless of where they live.

3. In what parts of the country does Associa Cares operate?
Associa Cares has over 40 local committees spread across the nation from Hawaii to Virginia. To find an Associa Cares committee in your area simply visit the Associa website and search for and contact the nearest management company office. You can also email the National Committee of Associa Cares at info@associacares.com.

4. Is my donation tax deductible?
Associa Cares in an approved 501(c)3 charity. To receive a tax deduction simply make sure you include your name and address with each donation and a giving receipt will be mailed to you.

5. What portion of my donation actually goes to people in need?
Associa Cares is uniquely different from other charities in that all Associa Cares staff donates their time voluntarily and receives no personal compensation. It is able to do this through the support and backing of each Associa member company office. Because of this the overhead cost to run Associa Cares is extremely low, including only nominal administrative costs.

6. How can I support Associa Cares?
The greatest need of Associa Cares is the financial support of caring people all across America. You can give to Associa Cares through our website or send donations to our national headquarters address. Employees of Associa can also designate a payroll deduction to Associa Cares to provide ongoing support for the organization.
